A beautiful viw of the Atlantic to the north and the volcanic mountain to the South plus its elevated position made this a dream home right from the start.

The house called Tia (aunt) Filipp who was the original owner of the house.

Slowley but surely the house started to take on its original form while it aquired an extra room and a inside bathroom!.

On the left you can see my mother who came all the way from Nevada to see what her kids were up to. Both here parents are from Terceira Island and she had visited there before.

Above is the bedroom with our extra long bed made by the Juao Leonel, the carpenter who did our roof and floor. He is famous the island over for his outstanding work..Many of the islands nice homes where roofed and windowed by "Tio Juao" and before him, his father.
